Our Story

HOW WE STARTED

NANIMERICA started in 2019 with two people: The Architect and The Inspiration.

We met through a shared obsession with anime. The late-night episodes, the debates over characters, the moments where a story or symbol stayed with you long after the screen went black.

The Inspiration had always been drawn to the worlds and characters themselves. The emotions, the symbolism, the designs behind legendary weapons, crests, and artifacts.

The Architect looked at those same things differently. Not just as stories, but as objects. Things that could be designed, shaped, and worn.

Somewhere between conversations, screenshots, and late-night discussions about our favorite series, an idea started forming.

Why didn’t anime jewelry feel… wearable?

Most pieces out there were either cheap novelty accessories or overly loud merchandise that you wouldn’t realistically wear outside of a convention. On the other end, traditional jewelry rarely captured the meaning behind the anime symbols we grew up with.

There was nothing that sat in the middle.

Something subtle. Something well made. Something that felt like it belonged both in the real world and in the stories that inspired it.

So we started experimenting.

Sketching symbols from different series. Studying how weapons, crests, and icons from anime could translate into jewelry. Turning references only true fans would recognize into pieces you could wear every day.

The Architect focused on bringing the ideas to life. The Inspiration made sure every piece stayed true to the story behind it.

What started as a small experiment slowly became something more.

Today, NANIMERICA creates anime-inspired jewelry for people who grew up with these stories and want to carry a small piece of them into the real world.

Because sometimes the most meaningful symbols are the ones only a few people recognize.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to elevate anime-inspired design into timeless jewelry, transforming the symbols and stories that shaped a generation into pieces meant to be worn every day.
